When to choose
High-Voltage FPCB

High-voltage FPCB is not always the right starting point. Review these four conditions before requesting samples or committing to a circuit design.

  • Your market requires 110V / 220V LED strip products

    Mains-voltage strip is standard in many markets including North America, Europe, and parts of the Middle East. If your customers expect direct-drive strip without a driver, high-voltage FPCB is the starting point.

  • You need longer strip runs or larger cutting units

    High-voltage designs support longer continuous runs with fewer connection points. Cutting units of 20 cm to 100 cm are common, reducing installation waste for your end customers.

  • You want to reduce low-voltage power supply limitations

    Eliminating the driver reduces BOM cost, installation complexity, and failure points. High-voltage FPCB moves the voltage conversion upstream into the circuit design itself.

  • You need circuit review before sampling, SMT, extrusion, or encapsulation

    High-voltage designs require careful resistor matching, insulation planning, and pad layout verification. A production-fit engineering review before sampling prevents costly rework downstream.
